FIP treatment

“I want you to know that when it comes to the key elements of FIP, vaccination for instance, really, we have a vaccine but we really don’t have a vaccine.

We don’t really know much about the epidemiology.

It’s a very complex viral infection. It’s clouded by genetics and ability to detect FIP in infected cats.

We really don’t have a good diagnostics test for it, we really don’t know how to treat it, there’s no way to really prognose it, and we’re not too sure how it’s transmitted.

I’ll be happy to take any questions now.”
